-High Voltage Breakdown Testers are useful for checking breakdown (flash-over) voltages of motors, transformers, pumps, chokes, coils, switches, connectors, plastics, rubbers, PCB’s, insulation materials, electrical and electronic components etc.

Useful for industries, railways, electricity boards, defence, communication centres, R & D organizations, laboratories, colleges, service centres etc.

Automatic tripping facility, HT ON and HT OFF visual indications, HT ON buzzer, high voltage safety probe with push button enable features, provide operator’s safety.

HT voltage and leakage current meters provide continuous readings, simultaneously.

TEST VOLTAGE

0 to 5 KV AC in -214 and -214A.

0 to 10 KV AC in -215.

Test voltage is displayed on wide view moving coil type of panel meter. Reading accuracy is within ±5%.

(DC output voltage option is available at extra charge of Rs. 2000/- each)

TRIPPING CURRENT LEVELS

0 to 30 mA in -214 and -215.

0 to 100 mA in -214A.

Tripping current levels can be set from 0 to maximum by front panel control.

Actual value of leakage current is displayed on wide view moving coil type of panel meter. Reading accuracy is within ±5%.

SAFETY FEATURES

Whenever mains supply of the high voltage tester is turned ON, high voltage remains OFF and is enabled only when push button on safety probe is kept pressed and only when actual value of leakage current is less than the tripping current level setting.

HT on indication glows and buzzer sounds when high voltage is ON.
Acrylic probe with safety skirt keeps operator’s hand away from high voltage.

Once high voltage is tripped, the same remains off until push button of the high voltage is released and pressed again.

230 volts AC, ±10%, 50/60 Hertz.

200 VA in -214. 500 VA in -215 and -214A.
